Today's ITAVTHSAAB* award goes to Marsha who arrived last night greeting me with the love and enthusiasm I knew she would. Her plane was blessedly late, allowing me to nap for 3 hours before going to pick her up. ("Sleep when the baby sleeps. Sleep when the baby sleeps." One of my  friends -- maybe Linda? -- has been drilling into my head.)

We arrived back to the hotel in time to close down the bar with a congratulatory glass of champagne. I have to admit I felt a bit guilty drinking in a hotel bar instead of being at Kofi's bedside... but the subsequent solid 7 hours sleep has washed away those feelings and now I feel ready for a new day of Kofiness (Kofiosity? Kofidelity? Kofiliciousness? Kofifragilisticexpialidociousness?)

Warning: this blog may be devolving into an unbearable combination paternal bloviation and cutsieness...

Oh, and one more ITAVTHSAAB* award: David Weinstein for giving me a Garmin last year which has been helping me navigate the highways and byways of Houston.
